Commentary: There is an epidemic of 18-wheeler accidents in North Texas, and today in Forney is no different. This second accident comes just a few hours after an 18-Wheeler accident that occurred on highway 80 in Forney this morning. No doubt an increase in drivers on our roadways is one of the major factors contributing to the rise in the number of accidents, but that does not diminish the negligence on the part of the drivers who are causing the accidents.
