(via NBCdfw.com: Two people were injured after a semi-truck driver ran a red light and hit a DART train near the West End Station on Pacific Avenue in downtown Dallas Thursday morning, DART officials said.

A passenger and train operator were injured in the crash, which happened about 6:30 a.m., but the injuries do not appear to be life-threatening, DART officials said. The driver tried to flee the scene.

The accident has been cleared and trains are resuming services through downtown Dallas.

via nbcdfw.com: A fiery crash involving two 18-wheelers closed Interstate 30 in Rowlett Monday morning, police say.

According to police, two big rigs collided on westbound I-30 at Dalrock Road shortly after 3 a.m. According to nbcdfw.com, the police said that both drivers were transported with injuries to nearby hospitals. Their conditions were not released as of the report.

HARTLEY COUNTY, TX (via KFDA) –

1 man has died after a two-vehicle accident on US-385 in Hartley County.

Wednesday around 2:35 a.m., Stanley Smith, 78, of Dimmitt, was driving a Saturn Ion south on US-385 when a Freightliner semi crossed over into the southbound lane and side-swiped the Saturn causing extensive damage to the driver side.

I-30 WestVia KDFW.com: ROYSE CITY, Texas – Three people were killed Wednesday morning when two 18-wheelers hit head on in Rockwall County.

The crash happened around 5 a.m. on Interstate 30 near the Royse City and Fate areas and apparently an 18-wheeler traveling westbound went across the median into oncoming traffic. It collided with another 18-wheeler head on. A third vehicle was involved.

All eastbound lanes of I-30 between FM 35 and FM 2642 are expected to be shut down for most of the day as crews complete their accident investigation. Drivers are encouraged to avoid the area if possible.
